The HELIOS HAMMER ARC 4000 is a fully industrial stick (MMA) welder, in the 400 V three-phase supply version. It delivers 400 A at 60 % and 350 A at 100 % duty cycle for non-stop production, with an 80 V open-circuit voltage and strong tolerance to mains fluctuations.
Peak current control gives a long, stiff, stable arc that won't break. It welds carbon and low-alloy steels, cast iron, copper and its alloys and other non-ferrous metals, with 2.5 to 6.0 mm electrodes preset from the diameter selector.
HELIOS technology: Hot Start for easy strikes with a cold electrode, Arc Force for better droplet transfer, HYPER ARC advanced arc control, touch-start Lift TIG with no high frequency, Anti Stick that cuts the current if the electrode sticks, and VRD, which reduces the no-load voltage for safety. The digital display shows real-time amperage and voltage, with an alarm indicator.
