The HELIOS HAMMER ARC 4000 MV is a multi-voltage industrial stick (MMA) welder: it runs on 220 V single- or three-phase and on 400/440 V three-phase only, whatever supply the site has. It delivers 380 A at 60 % on 440 V and, on 220 V, 260 A at 60 % and 220 A at 100 % duty cycle, with an 80 V open-circuit voltage.
Peak current control gives a long, stiff, stable arc that won't break. It welds carbon and low-alloy steels, cast iron, copper and its alloys and other non-ferrous metals, with 2.5 to 6.0 mm electrodes preset from the diameter selector.
HELIOS technology: Hot Start for easy strikes with a cold electrode, Arc Force for better droplet transfer, HYPER ARC advanced arc control, touch-start Lift TIG with no high frequency, Anti Stick that cuts the current if the electrode sticks, and VRD, which reduces the no-load voltage for safety. The digital display shows real-time amperage, with an alarm indicator.
