The HELIOS KATANA A12 is a portable, high-performance 1200 W fibre laser welding system, designed for industrial applications that demand top quality, speed and reliability.
Thanks to fibre laser technology, the A12 delivers clean, deep and consistent welds with a minimal heat-affected zone. It works in continuous or modulated mode, with power adjustable from 10 to 100 %, and welds stainless steel, carbon steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, brass and copper.
The wire feeder module with a 15 kg spool docks on top of the source, delivering filler wire continuously to the WG02 laser welding gun (0.8 to 1.2 mm wire, 1.6 mm optional). It is controlled from a front touchscreen, with an emergency stop and safety key within reach, and rides on a cart with four swivel castors.
Compact, rugged and easy to use, it is the answer for steel structures, automotive, metal joinery, machinery manufacturing and appliance production. Supplied with WG02 gun, 10 m fibre-optic cable, power cable, wire feeder, tool case and user manual.
