01 / Overview

100% duty cycle at 40 °C

The HELIOS VIPER 5000 was developed for the most demanding industrial environments, where reliability and continuous performance are essential. It offers a 100% duty cycle at 40 °C, ensuring stable operation even in harsh thermal conditions and high-load shifts.

Its double-pulse MIG technology and 100% digital DSP control — the fastest digital control ever created by HELIOS — deliver precise arc management, greater stability, better penetration and superior weld quality on every material, aluminium included.

With 16 memories and robot communication over MODBUS, DeviceNet and Ethernet, the VIPER 5000 is the ideal tool for heavy fabrication, structural steel, shipyards and intensive industrial maintenance.
